Picture Shack is a small gallery situated on the scenically stunning West coast of Scotland, in the fishing village of Lochinver.

Previously located in the tiny, nearby settlement of Achiltibuie,  it has always been popular with the many visitors drawn to the area by the spectacular scenery, wildlife and walking opportunities.

The gallery does a brisk trade selling Mary King´s original paintings, limited edition prints and cards, along with works by selected other artists with a connection to the area. A collectable artist, with paintings now in every corner of the world, she has built up a valuable and loyal client base, including many well-known people who return to the area year after year to escape the rigours of their everyday lives, and like to take a little corner of this beautiful place home with them! 

Closing in its previous location in 2006, Mary has been working on other projects such as sketching holidays to Morocco (www.paintingholidaysabroad.com) which are now up and running.

The gallery will reopen in April 2009; however, the beautiful limited edition prints are always available to purchase online.

All the prints are individually signed and numbered by the artist, and are produced by traditional methods on good quality paper using lightfast inks. Please browse the online gallery and make your selection; alternatively, feel free to contact us with any queries or requests you may have.
